FREQUANTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.How often should I steam clean?

A. You should steam clean at least twice a year. However, if your a family of four and have a cat/dogs it should be done more often. Even if your carpet or rug looks clean there is a lot going on deep in the fibres. Also, take into consideration if you have asthma or suffer from pollen and other allergies. A good rule to go by is, with every new season to have a professional steam clean.

Q. What method do you use for cleaning?

A. The method we use for cleaning is hot water extraction, commonly referred to as steam cleaning. Hot water extraction method removes the toughest, deepest dirt safely and gently. Hot, soft water and a specially formulated cleaning solution are injected deep within the carpet fibers. Then, a powerful suction extracts deep-down dirt, allergens, cleaning solution and 95% of the moisture. It’s the cleaning method most carpet manufacturers recommends.

Q. How long will my carpet or upholstery take to dry?

A. Your carpet should only be slightly wet. It will be dry and safe to return your furniture within from 2-8hrs. Upholstery is usually slot sooner (A good air ventilation is the key for faster drying)

Q. What should I do before your arrival?

A. We ask that you remove small items, small furniture, plants, toys and shoes out of the rooms being cleaned. Breakables and knickknacks need to be removed or furniture that is to be moved. Please also make appropriate arrangements for children and pets.

Q. Do I need to vacuum before your arrival?

A. A light vacuuming in the traffic areas is highly recommended.

Q. Do you guarantee removal of all spots or stains in the carpet?

A. We cannot guarantee all spots or stains will be removed. There are substances that can permanently discolour the carpet and upholstery. The age of the carpet and the type of carpet fibres also plays a factor in this.

Q. Why is steam cleaning better than dry cleaning?

A. steam cleaning naturally kills all bacteria with deep penetration, also extracts all chemicals and dirt bacteria from the carpet and upholserhery

Q. Which areas in Melbourne do you cover?

A. We offer cleaning services in most Melbourne Postcodes.

Q. Do I need to be present?

A. No, we thrive off our trustworthy and honest reputation. Many clients feel at ease leaving us unattended while at work or running errands. It is common for clients to meet with us then leave when we’re ready to begin cleaning. Some clients have chosen to leave a key in a designated spot, or have a friend, relative or neighbour meet us. If questions arise we will call your contact number and discuss them with you. When we are finished, we’ll adjust the thermostat and fans for the quickest drying time and lock ourselves out.
